A keepsake portrait on real ceramic — for the pet still curled up beside you, or as a tribute to a friend you'll never forget. Painted in the same style as the 17th-century Delftse dierentegels.
Free to design — only pay when you're happy.
Upload one photo of your pet. Our AI redraws them in cobalt brushstrokes — coat by coat, eye by eye. The name and date are painted into a soft ribbon banner below the portrait.
Real ceramic, fired at 1080°C — forever.
Fill in the name below (and optionally a date or short tribute). On the next page you upload a photo of your pet and our AI brings your design to life in cobalt brushstrokes.

Bella — 2014 — 2024
Mila — Best friend
Bram — Since 12 May 2020
Mr. Pickles — 10th birthday
Examples of what you can make, for inspiration. Works on dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, and everything in between.
Eye level, sharp, face turned straight to the camera. One photo is enough — for multiple pets, send one clean photo per animal.
For example: "Bella — 2014" or for in memoriam "Bella — 2014 — 2024". Our AI paints that text into a soft ribbon banner below.
Classic Delft Blue or full colour. 15×15 cm or 20×20 cm XL. See your preview live in the editor.
We fire your tile within 24-48 hours and ship fast. Secure payment with iDEAL, Bancontact, PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Klarna.
The 17th-century Delft tile painters had a soft spot for animals. Dogs, cats, horses, sheep, birds — at the peak (1640-1740), the Delft factories made entire series with a single animal in a circular medallion, framed by floral corners. Many of those tiles still hang today in the Rijksmuseum, the Boijmans Van Beuningen, and in old Dutch homes.
Our pet tiles bring that classic Delftware tradition into a modern key: your photo of Bella is translated by our AI into the same cobalt brushstrokes — coat by coat, eye by eye — then printed on real ceramic. No potter's wheel, but the same Dutch warmth that made the original so beloved.
For a single pet, 15×15 cm works beautifully. For two or three pets together, or if you want lots of fur detail (long coats, distinctive markings), we recommend 20×20 cm XL.
A portrait of Bella as she is right now — not sometime in the future, just now. The best gift to yourself, or to someone who kisses their dog more than their partner.
For the dog who licked you awake every morning for ten years, the cat who always sat in the most inconvenient spot. A tribute that holds all their years — not sorrowful, but loving.
When a friend has just said goodbye, this helps. A name, a date, and the dog the way she'll always remember him. Flowers wilt, this stays.
For the first anniversary of bringing him home from the shelter. A tile with "Bram — since 12 May 2025" as a memento of where your story together began.
Ten years together, five years together, or just Bella's 8th birthday. A tile that marks the milestone — and stays on the mantelpiece.
A Delft Blue pet tile is a personal tribute that lands deeper than a photo frame or a name-printed plush. We paint your dog, cat, rabbit, or horse into the tile in cobalt brushstrokes — coat by coat, eye by eye, in the same style as the 17th-century Delft animal tiles now in the Rijksmuseum. Not a sticker: printed on real ceramic and fired in, so it will still hold your pet's name 50 years from now.
Whether you're looking for a memorial pet tile for a pet who has passed, a sympathy gift for someone who has just said goodbye to their dog or cat, a gotcha-day present for the rescue dog who joined your household last year, or just a portrait of Bella as she's curled up beside you right now — a Delft Blue pet tile fits every moment. Many customers give two as a set: the pet of yesterday beside the pet of today.
Our tiles are designed in the Netherlands and fired at 1080°C on real ceramic, just like the original Delft animal tiles. Order before 17:00 and your tile ships the same business day, with fast delivery across the Netherlands, Belgium, and the rest of Europe. Free to design — you only pay when the preview is perfect. A personalised pet keepsake that lasts a lifetime.
5 out of 5 stars
A sharp photo at eye level, taken indoors or in soft daylight, with the face turned straight to the camera and no harsh shadows over the eyes. Don't shoot from above, as it distorts the proportions. One pet per photo works best; for multiple pets, send a separate clean photo of each and we'll combine them on one tile. We accept JPG, PNG, and HEIC up to 25 MB.
Yes. A pet immortalised in Delft Blue is a loving tribute. Enter the name on line 1 and, for example, "2014-2024" on line 2 for the years. We ship in a clean box without an invoice and without cheerful marketing inserts. If you want to adjust something within 12 hours of ordering, just email us.
Our AI follows the coat and colour patterns exactly as they appear in the photo: white chest, black socks, that one floppy ear. The clearer the photo, the closer the likeness. Not sure? Run the free preview first and see if it lands. You only pay once the preview is perfect.
Absolutely, and arguably better. The AI works from your photo, not from a pre-trained breed profile, so mixed breeds and rescues come through just as beautifully as pedigreed champions. Dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, parrots, lizards: anything you have a clear photo of.
Yes. Upload one photo of them together, or, better yet, two or three separate clean-background photos, and our AI will compose them onto one tile in the same Delft style. Put both names on the name line ("Bram & Bella"). For 3+ pets we recommend 20×20 cm XL for the extra room.
Up to 4 lines in a soft ribbon banner below the portrait: name (required), date (optional: a single year, a range like "2014-2024", or a gotcha-day date), and optionally a short tribute ("Best friend", "Forever in our hearts"). Keep it short: max ~40 characters per line reads best.
Free to design. Only order when the preview is perfect.
