Canvas: when it has to look like a painting
It is no coincidence that canvas is the material our customers love most. The texture of the fabric gives your portrait something a smooth print simply cannot: it looks like a real painting. With royal portraits and Renaissance styles in particular the effect is magical, as though an old master had painted it.
Your canvas print is stretched over a wooden frame and is ready to hang straight away. No frame, no fuss. The warm tones and organic texture work best with classic or cosy interiors.
Aluminium: for those who want it crisp and modern
If canvas is the warm choice, aluminium is the cool one. The colours are deeper and more vivid than on any other material. The glossy surface makes images almost three-dimensional: pop art styles and Delft Blue portraits are at their very best here.
Aluminium is practical too: it resists water and UV rays and is practically indestructible. Thanks to the mounting system it floats a centimetre off the wall, for a modern gallery effect. Perfect for sleek interiors, offices or even the bathroom.
Poster: surprisingly beautiful, surprisingly affordable
A poster may look like the budget option, but don't underestimate it. Our posters are printed on heavy, premium paper with intense colours. The result is genuinely beautiful, especially if you put it in a nice frame.
Posters are ideal if you want to combine several works into a gallery wall, if you are looking for a gift without spending a fortune, or if you simply want to work out which style you like most before investing in canvas or aluminium.
Forex: the lightweight alternative
Renting, with thin walls? Or looking for something for a big, empty wall without having to use heavy wall plugs? Then forex is your friend. It is a panel of sturdy yet featherlight plastic material, with a clean matte finish.
It is not as tactile as canvas nor as glossy as aluminium, but it is an excellent middle ground if you want a modern result without the weight. Many customers choose forex for the office or as temporary decoration.
