Rectangular Line Art Photo Tile

One line. One moment. One tile with room for two. The Rectangular Line Art Photo Tile captures your most cherished memory in the timeless elegance of minimalist line art — a single continuous black line on a snow-white background — and fires the result onto a ceramic tile of 19.8 by 14.8 centimetres: landscape by default, and portrait if you would rather.

What makes this style special?

The Abstract Line Art style strips your photo down to its essence: facial structure, expression, and the key contours — drawn with a fluid, uninterrupted line. No shadows, no colour, no noise — just form and emotion. The result feels surprisingly personal and slips effortlessly into any modern, calm, or sleek interior.

On ceramic, line art lands even harder. The snow-white tile creates a perfect canvas, and the fine black line comes through razor-sharp on the print.

Why this format?

Almost everything we make in ceramic is square. This is not. A wide surface gives room side by side: two people do not have to be squeezed together, a couple fits shoulder to shoulder, and an owner and their dog both make it on whole. A single line needs white to breathe, and two figures flowing into each other in one movement — that is where line art is at its strongest. Rather have one person, from crown to shoes? Switch the tile to portrait, and that line runs from top to bottom without ever having to stop.

Who is it for?

A surprisingly personal gift for minimalists, art lovers, and anyone who isn't keen on visual clutter. Think of a portrait of a loved one, a pet, a couple in embrace, or a defining family moment. Ideal for a birthday, anniversary, housewarming or retirement.

How do I display it?

Hang it with the hanging eye: a self-adhesive disc with a small brass eye that you stick on the back yourself. Prefer it standing on a shelf, mantel or desk? Choose the wooden tile stand or the black tile stand — a stand only works with the tile in landscape, the way it comes by default. In portrait it is 19.8 cm tall and will not stay put in a stand; hang it with the hanging eye instead, or lean it against the wall without a stand. Note that every stand covers a narrow strip of the bottom edge.
