What makes this style special?

The Sweetheart Illustration style keeps everything that makes the photo yours: the hug, the kiss on the cheek, the hoodie, the sneakers, the glasses. It only changes how it is told — delicate lines in warm grey-brown, gentle watercolour fills, a clean white background, and hearts floating around you. No caricature, no cartoon: you, drawn with a warm hand. Pick the accent yourself: hearts, flowers or plain, with no decoration at all.

Why this format?

Almost everything we make in ceramic is square. This is not. A landscape surface gives you width: two people fit side by side without anyone being cut off at the edge, and the hearts get the air to the left and right that they lack in a square. Rather a full-length photo, the two of you from head to toe? Then turn the tile to portrait.

Who is it for?

Couples, first and foremost: an anniversary, a first Valentine's, moving in together, or just because. It works just as well for a wedding photo, the proposal, or you and your best friend. Choose the flowers variant for a mother, a sister or a friend, or the plain version if you would rather keep it clean.

How do I display it?

Hang it with the hanging eye: a self-adhesive disc with a small brass eye that you stick on the back yourself. Prefer it standing on a shelf, mantel or desk? Choose the wooden tile stand or the black tile stand. Note that a stand only works with the tile in landscape, and that every stand covers a narrow strip of the bottom edge — if you add text, put it at the top. In portrait, hang the tile on the hanging eye or lean it against the wall without a stand.
