About this product
Round, square, rectangular — that is usually where it stops. This tile has six sides, and that is not a detail of the product: it is the product.
What makes this shape special?
A hexagon catches the eye because you do not expect it anywhere. On a wall it reads as a honeycomb, a crystal, a road sign that turned out to be art. And because hexagons tessellate without gaps, you can build a wall out of them: one hangs beautifully, three is a composition, five is a wall people keep looking at.
The flip side of that shape is worth saying out loud: the four corners of your photo are cut away. What is left is a wide middle field of 17 by 15 centimetres — plenty for a face, a pet or a close-up.
Which style will it be?
You upload one photo and then choose how it gets painted. On this format we offer four styles, and they have one thing in common: they build from the middle out. Charcoal Drawing lets the edges fade away, Abstract Line Art keeps nothing but the contour, Watercolour Painting bleeds outward into colour, and Pop Art Portrait puts the face dead centre against a flat surround. That is exactly what a hexagon needs, because the corners go.
Who is it for?
For anyone who already owns an ordinary tile and wants something that is not more of the same. For a gift that stands out without being large. And for the collector: start with one, add two later, and you have a wall that grew instead of a wall you bought.
How do I display it?
Hang it with the hanging eye: a self-adhesive disc with a small brass eye that you stick on the back yourself. Stand it up with the tile stand, the black upright holder — there is no wooden stand for this shape. Note that the stand covers a narrow strip of the bottom edge.

Customer Reviews
Reviews come from customers with a confirmed order. Some customers received a discount code for writing a review. That code never depended on the rating they gave.

I am very happy with how this beautifully crafted personalized tile came out. The picture I provided was from a wonderful, fond memory in the Adirondacks with the lady and I before we got married. Julian took my digital picture and turned it into a family heirloom. It turned out so nice, I think I'll do one that includes our son, and one for our past pets. Excellent quality.. my wife's screenshot from message is attached, as she is traveling to see family in Sweden. She LOVED it :)

We wanted to get a special gift for our friend who really loves their little cat. This was the perfect gift for him. It’s especially lovely and unique because it’s such a special Dutch themed gift. Perfect for Christmas, birthdays and special occasions. Will definitely get some more in the future.

Beautiful
I ordered 2 tiles. Well packaged, they were delivered promptly. It is a beautiful product, so true to nature and it looks so real. Simply great, I am really thrilled. It has more than exceeded my expectations. One tile was a gift and that also went down really well - a great gift idea.
