Round, square, rectangular — that is usually where it stops. This tile has six sides, and that is not a detail of the product: it is the product.

What makes this shape special?

A hexagon catches the eye because you do not expect it anywhere. On a wall it reads as a honeycomb, a crystal, a road sign that turned out to be art. And because hexagons tessellate without gaps, you can build a wall out of them: one hangs beautifully, three is a composition, five is a wall people keep looking at.

The flip side of that shape is worth saying out loud: the four corners of your photo are cut away. What is left is a wide middle field of 17 by 15 centimetres — plenty for a face, a pet or a close-up.

How do I display it?
